One of the most common worries as a contract staff is whether you will get a renewal of contract as your current contract is approaching to its end. Usually, if the role is not to deliver a one-time-off project, employers would need someone to continue working for them so that their workload will be manageable. And it’s always better to work with the same person, rather than training a new staff which can be quite time consuming. However, if the current contract staff does not bring any value to the hiring managers, then their heart may start to wonder whether they should consider opening the opportunity for the next potential candidate.
